Meet our Staff

Marilyn Van MersbergenMarilyn Van Mersbergen, Executive Director

Marilyn has been the director since the opening of the Center in 1996. She brings 25 years of experience as a R.N., having worked in management as well as obstetrics.

Marilyn is married, a mother of three children and the grand-mother of nine. Marilyn has lived in Pella most of her life and attends Grace Fellowship Church.

Chris Van KootenChris Van Kooten, Office Manager

Chris Van Kooten is our office manager. She began at PCC as a volunteer receptionist 13 years ago and is now the office manager and counselor.

Chris grew up in Pella and now lives on an acreage outside of town with her husband, son and daughter. She is a member of Otley Reformed Church where she also works part-time as their children and youth director.
